With the parts made in Canada and the guitar assembled in the USA, this guitar features a Silverleaf Maple centre body with Poplar wings, a Hard Rock Maple neck, a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard, a floating trem bridge equipped with Ghost saddle pickups and the Hexpander Modular Pre-amp, a 13-pin MIDI socket that is compatible with Roland GR-Series Guitar synth units, two Godin humbucking pickups and a Godin single coil pickup that are wired to a Guitar volume, Guitar Tone, Synth Volume, 5-way pickup selector, a 3-way toggle between synth, guitar or both and a Momentary mini toggle that serves multiple functions on the synth setting.The Hard Rock Maple neck fits in the hand really nicely with a semi gloss finish that allows the player’s hand to fluidly move up and down the neck. The double cutaway gives the player an excellent amount of access to the upper register of the guitar.The Godin GS-1 single coil pickup in the middle position is open and clear sounding, with a fairly modern voicing. The Godin humbuckers in bridge and neck positions add great versatility giving you the best of both worlds while still keeping a coherent overall tone. The 13-pin MIDI socket allows you to connect to a Roland GR-Series synth unit which will then allow you to turn your guitar into a synth, allowing you to experiment with endless possibilities.
